About

With over 12 years of experience in M&E, systems strengthening, data analysis, and capacity building, I am committed to improving health and nutrition outcomes through robust information management systems. As Planning and Monitoring Officer in Karamoja, I expanded UNICEF’s Emergency Preparedness and Response (EPR) programme, training all District Disaster Management Committee members and developing the Karamoja Multi-Hazard Emergency Response Plan. I also deployed U-Report to enhance community feedback during emergencies. As a Health Systems Strengthening Consultant, I revised national planning guidelines to incorporate bottleneck analysis for nutrition and child health, supported the RMNCAH Sharpened Plan Strategy, and aided 33 district health teams in developing evidence-based work plans. I rolled out the Supply Chain Maturity Model, improving logistics in these districts. In Karamoja, as Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for the Education Programme, I implemented real-time data collection using KoboToolbox, identifying and referring over 40,000 children with severe acute malnutrition (SAM) and administering vital nutrition interventions. My efforts in data collection and analysis consistently drove programmatic improvements and policy development. I possess a high level of proficiency in strategic management and performance measurement, including indicator selection, target setting, reporting, database management, developing M&E and performance monitoring plans, work planning, budgeting, and communication with internal and external stakeholders. I am proficient in utilizing various M&E tools and software, such as DHIS2, Power BI, Tableau, QGIS SPSS, EPI-Info, Epi-data, Excel, and statistical analysis software, to ensure accurate data analysis and reporting. I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Makerere University and currently pursuing a Doctorate in Public Health – Epidemiology at the Atlantic International University.
