"I like how you started with the mud story — that tied everything together and made the title make sense. Some parts were heavy, but you explained it in a way that was easy to follow, and made it conversational. That's the part that makes it so relatable.
Speaking on unforgiveness and the dynamic with your stepfather was powerful. It really make you put forgiveness into perspective and make you question if you really have forgiven someone.. Overall though, it’s powerful, an authentic, and it sticks with you after reading it. My favorite part is how conversational it is because it takes away from feeling like you're just reading a book."
