Design and manage automated test scripts that are reusable. Research and implement test automation.
When necessary or required, interfacing with the client to understand a client’s business as well as their goals and visions for products being supported by the Company.
Advising the Company on matters relating to new technologies/ standards/ methodologies/ innovations/ research products, devising implementation strategies and participating in their evelopment/implementation into business cases.

Guide and mentor new/old Software Test Analysts to ensure that they perform up to the set standards.

Write test plans and test cases from functional specifications and from using the product.
Use internal defect tracking and test case management system(s) to document test cases, record defects and record test case execution results.
Perform thorough system testing for support call changes.
Backend database testing environment including validating stored procedures, jobs and triggers.
Document test results and evaluate results to determine defects in order to track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
Gain awareness of business application and validate requirements against user expectations.
Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Assist subject matter experts (SMEs) with user acceptance testing.
Work directly with the clients to triage defects.
Verify code review results from developers’ code review reports.
Ensure cross skilling within the team.
Effectively manage any team that may be assigned to me to achieve set targets.
