About

I’m a preacher, educator, and advocate with a deep passion for empowering Black women and transforming communities through faith and public health. With a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) and a Master of Public Health (MPH), my journey has been one of merging spiritual insight with practical wellness, ensuring that the body, mind, and spirit thrive together. As the founder of Raising Holy Health Ministries, I am committed to promoting holistic well-being in Black Church spaces, where faith and health can intersect for lasting impact. My work spans HR leadership, public health, pastoral care, and nonprofit management, giving me a unique perspective on the challenges our communities face. I believe in the power of education, advocacy, and spiritual wholeness to create change, and I’ve dedicated my life to building healthier, more resilient futures for those I serve. My academic interests include maternal and child health, Africana women’s studies, and the rich legacy of Black preaching. I aspire to become a university president, honoring the legacy of HBCUs and ensuring the next generation of leaders is equipped to thrive. Beyond the titles and credentials, I’m simply someone who believes deeply in the power of faith, justice, and compassion to change the world.
