I first met Rees at a Seattle Seahawks training camp. Not long after meeting him, I reached out with my very first ask: Would he be willing to spend Mother’s Day serving women and children experiencing homelessness with me?

Without hesitation, Rees said yes.

He showed up, gave his time, and helped us serve and feed mothers and their children on a day when so many of those women needed to feel seen, valued, and cared for.
