Raymont Zulu is a Zambian 5th and final year student at the Copperbelt University School of Medicine pursuing a bachelor of science in Environmental Health. He is a Young African Leaders Initiative-Regional Leadership Centre-Southern Africa (YALI-RLC-SA) alumnus where he graduated with a Certificate in Civic Leadership. He also possesses certificates in Digital Advocacy and HIV management in Adolescents. He is the founder and Executive Director of Youth Alliance for Climate and Health (YACH) where he has planned, spearhearded and implemented several projects in the Climate Change space. He is also a founder and inaugural president of the Copperbelt University Public and Environmental Health Student Association (CUPEHSA) where he served for two terms of office, 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 academic years. He is also serving as the secretary general at the Zambia Environmental Health Student Association (ZEHSA). Additionally, he is a Change Agent (CA) at Young Happy Health & Safe (YHHS), an NGO where he has dedicated his time, effort and passion for the fight against HIV and other related STIs among adolescents and young people through the promotion of access to Sexual and Reproductive Health & Rights (SRHR) services on these mentioned targeted populations. He has also served as the clerk for the Student Representative Council (SRC) of the CBU School of medicine Student Union for the 2022-2023 academic year where he has provided administrative and secretariat responsibilities in the student parliament. He has been recognized at YALI Alumni Spotlight by YALI Zambia as one of the most impactful African young leaders who are driving positive change in the community. He has also received a recognition as a Student leader of the year 2023 at Copperbelt University School of Medicine. In 2023, he stood out to be one of the 250 young African leaders from across the continent, who were selected to participate in the Africa CDC youth Pre-Conference (YPC2023) and the 3rd International Conference on Public Health In Africa (CPHIA2023) held in Lusaka Zambia. A passionate young african leader, Education and Climate-Health activist whose works align with the UN SDGs number 3, 4 and 13.
