"OPJC is a Hasidic-inspired Orthodox synagogue with a welcoming community. People from different Jewish backgrounds and levels of knowledge are embraced where they are, whatever their level of observance or familiarity with Jewish practice.
When I first discovered OPJC nearly three years ago, I had actually thought it was a Conservative synagogue. What I found was something far more meaningful. The Rabbis inspired me from the start: their warmth and personal attention, the depth of their knowledge, and their clear vision for what this community could become. Each brings a different flavor to their leadership, and together they create something that works.
What I value most is the community's willingness to create a space where people feel safe to learn, grow, and deepen their connection to Jewish practice through a Hasidic-inspired approach. There is a real sense that people are met where they are.
Throughout the year, the synagogue offers classes and events centered around the Sabbath and holidays, providing ongoing opportunities for learning and connection.
This is a growing community with a strong heart. A great deal of care goes into building a space of belonging and spiritual growth."
