I am a young and innovative Humanitarian with passion and vast experience in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA/CTP), Economic Security/Livelihood, Nature-based Solutions (NbS), Climate change and Climate change adaptation, Preparedness for Effective Response (PER) and Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) management. With more than half a decade of progressively responsible and strong technical/operational professional experience working with the Nigerian Red Cross Society, I have designed and managed several projects/Interventions with indigenous and international partners like the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), UNICEF, IOM, ECHO, USAID among others and gained a vast understanding of humanitarian aid operations. Recently, I managed the implementation of an ECHO funded Shock Responsive Social Protection (SRSP) project targeting 5000 households (HHs) in Kaduna in partnership with UNICEF. The SRSP project recorded a 99.4% success in the forecast-based CVA in 6 communities. I also led the implementation of the UNICEF funded Humanitarian Cash Transfer (HCT) to 3500 households (HHs) in Bayelsa following the devastating 2022 flooding in Nigeria. One of my key strengths is my proficiency in innovatively designing and managing projects with a deep understanding of the constraints of Scope, Time and Resources. I am skilled in using several data tools, including Device Magic, KoboToolbox, Mwater, Google Forms, and other data collection, management, and analysis tools. As an M & E enthusiast, I firmly believe that M & E tools are the primary language of development around the globe. With my experience and expertise in disaster management and humanitarian aid operations, I am committed to positively impacting the world.
