Ольга Осовська

"I collaborated with Olya for the first time when I was a Peace Corps volunteer in Ukraine 17 years ago. We worked on a variety of projects, including an oblast wide summer camp for students, and a Peer Training PepFar project. Together we wrote grants to keep our projects strong, and they ran for years past the initial incarnation. This is because Olya is one of those rare individuals who is extremely competent, kind, and communicative. Any success I had as a volunteer was because her patience in explaining cross cultural realities made it easier to implement ideas that were complex and turn them into actual functioning projects. Even after I left Ukraine, we continued to collaborate virtually before that became the norm. Olya is a forward thinker, and able to see the big picture as well as remember the importance of details. That is why she is so successful. Whether training others, working on a project by herself, or collaborating in small or large groups, Olya is sure to make a positive impact on any project in any work environment.
