I am a Finance and Budget Specialist with over 10 years of experience supporting United Nations agencies, international NGOs, and donor-funded programmes across Africa. I specialize in financial management, budget planning, grants oversight, donor compliance, audit coordination, and strengthening financial governance frameworks that enable impactful development programmes.
Currently, I support the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) as a Finance and Budget Specialist within the Global Environment Facility (GEF) Chemicals and Green Chemistry portfolio, providing financial oversight, budget management, audit coordination, and financial analysis for complex international programmes.
Throughout my career, I have managed and supported multi-country portfolios funded by institutions including the Global Environment Facility (GEF), World Bank, European Union, and other development partners. My experience includes providing financial oversight for portfolios valued at over USD 500 million, coordinating project audits, strengthening internal controls, supporting IPSAS-compliant financial reporting, and improving financial processes through data-driven solutions.
