 Delivering front line safety education and training (Toolbox Talks).
 Advise on matters pertaining to health and safety for the guidance of the employer and the workers.
 Lead incident investigation and management activities
 Manage and plan for internal and external audits to confirm compliance with regulatory, certification and other business requirements
 Ensure that programs and processes are in place to efficiently and effectively achieve the objectives related to occupational safety and process safety. The Safety Supervisor will also identify deficiencies in programs and practices and develop strategies to correct those deficiencies.
 Lead and guide the Local Content H&S Field Teams.
 Provide field-based Safety supervision
 Identifying deficiencies in programs and practices and develop strategies to correct those deficiencies.
 Ensure thorough contractor HSE assessments and conducting evaluations and prequalification’s as required

Work experience

Responsibilities:
 Advise on matters pertaining to health and safety for the guidance of the employer and the workers.
 Working with and training all employees to manage, monitor and improve the health and safety standards in the workplace.
 Assisting with the creation of the health and safety monitoring systems and polices in the workplace.
 Managing emergency procedures such as fire Alarm drills and organising teams such as fire marshals and Aiders.
 Maintain an effective and efficient accident record system and to coordinate actions taken by supervisors to eliminate accident causes.
 Providing assistance to government agencies in the conduct of safety and health inspection, accident investigation or any other related programmes.
 Coordinating all site health and safety training programmes for employees.
 Carrying out safety audits.
 Investigating all injuries and accidents.
 Carrying out work site health and safety inspections.
 Delivering front line safety education and training (Toolbox Talks).
 First Aid and nursing duties.
 Ensuring proper use of PPE by workers at all times.
 Offering general health and safety advice to employees
