Work experience

Interpret and Implement routine health information efficiently and effectively at district and health facility level in line with framework of the LPHO-CDC Cooperative Agreement and the Health Sector Routine Health Information Systems in order to facilitate quick decision making.
To compile validate and verify client’s data in to electronic health records systems to ensure generation of accurate reports to improve quality of health care in health facilities.
Undertakes effectively and efficiently routine collection aggregation, storage, retrieval, analysis and reporting of health related to HIV prevention, treatment care and support within the LPHO/CDC cooperative agreement framework.
Ensure transfer of data management knowledge to other staff.
Ensures accurate and timely collection and transmission of PEPFAR and corporative that PEPFAR reporting requirements are fulfilled in a timely manner.
Undertakes regularly, monitoring and evaluation of PEPFAR required information services in particular and health management information system in general for enhance data quality and program performance.
Promotes and spearheads capacity building activities in data, information management for the surge GSM in HCW, s.
Maintains an accurate and up to date data base in order to provide timely and accurate information for decision making.
Undertakes effective consolidation of reports and implementation status of the CoAg/DHO Plan in order to monitor, evaluate and enhance performance.

Develop and implement procedures and rules for effective data management and data management strategies.
Guarantee adherence to legal and organization regulation with regards to data utilization.
Monitor and evaluate information and data systems that could affect analytical results.
Manage all incoming data files from facilities.
Assist with recognizing and upholding digital security systems to protect delicate information.
Work closely with the M&E Officers to implement data cleaning activities.
Provide patient loss reports to the M&E Officers for cleaning of data.
Analyze MER Reports before reporting to M&E Manager.
Conduct training of other staff when required.
Triangulate the data from all service points and programs (HTS, MCH, Lab, etc)
Generate list of clients due for viral load and ensure that M&E Officers work on lists provided.
Assess system performance and make recommendations for software, hardware and data storage improvements, including antivirus updates.
Monitor and maintain computer system and networks.
Serve as a mentor to other personnel for the implementation of e-First in Smartcare and resolution of system challenges.
Assist in timely generation of monthly or other reports as required by partners and other stakeholders.
Carry out system updates as may be assigned.
Participate in data review meetings
Attend to any other duties as assigned by the Data Manager.
