Gideon Nsubuga is a Biomedical Scientist who holds tenure as a Research Associate at the Department of Immunology and Molecular Biology at Makerere University. He has special training in ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems, Laboratory Internal Audit and Monitoring and Evaluation. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Immunology and Clinical Microbiology at Makerere University. He is equipped with vast knowledge, skills and techniques in Molecular Biology, Microbiology and Immunology. He has been privileged to work with a number of laboratories including; the Immunology Teaching Laboratory at Makerere University; Genomics, Sequencing and Molecular Biology facilities as; and the Integrated Biorepository of H3Africa Uganda (IBRH3AU) as a laboratory technologist and Quality Manager. This has enabled him to be directly engaged in a number of research projects and clinical trials and grant writing teams that have sharpened his research technical and study designing skills. Gideon is maximally motivated by the research particularly in HIV-TB, ageing, and biobanking.
