  • 1. To ensure effective, efficient and quality clinical services are provided at the respective health facilities. This is achieve through regular supportive Supervision to these facilities.
  • 2. Coordinate and lead the medical outreach team in providing health care to the refugees in Taraba State and health care facilities supported by Nigerian Red Cross Society.
  • 3. Providing mentoring and on the job training for Health Staff and Volunteers in Red Cross supported facilities according to National guidelines and SOPs. With my team, we ensure regular capacity building for Health Staff and Volunteers in Red Cross supported Primary Health Care facilities in Takum Operations site leading to drastic reduction in error in prescriptions and Poly pharmacy in Encounter Bills thereby saving enough fund for the project. My Team won 2024 Patient Friendly Bill from Nigerian Red Cross Society supported by UNHCR
  • 4. Undertake patient's Consultation and physical examination and Health education. During Clinical Consultations, a good number of cases that needed referrals were picked up and refer accordingly.
  • Our regular health talk have gone a long way to improve health seeking habits of our clients. This is the reasons we recorded low or no under 5 mortality in our project site.
  • 5. Responsible for generating note for file for Refugees requiring referral to secondary and Tertiary care for purpose of approval by Project manager.
  • 6. Provide technical guidance to Assistant Technical Officers- Nutrition, Mental Health, Essential Drugs and Monitoring and Evaluation. We conducted a successful Standardized Expanded Nutrition Survey in Taraba State in 2023 with the support of UNHCR. The outcome was the reason our team use local available food to prepare supplementary feed for Malnourished Under 5 Children.
