I completed my master's degree in Education course History at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana. During college, I occasionally worked in various positions. I also completed teaching practice in primary and secondary school. I successfully passed the professional examination for educational professionals.   • The fundamental objective of the second-cycle pedagogical master's study programme History is to train students to perform certain forms of research, journalism, archival and museum work within the framework of various works in the profession and various related works in the humanities and social sciences, and in particular to train them to perform the profession of history teacher in primary and secondary schools and other educational institutions.
  • Within the framework of the study programme, students deepen their professional historical knowledge and knowledge of history didactics. They use theoretical foundations of historical science and its methodological approaches, acquire specialist knowledge about the political, social, economic and cultural history of Slovenia, the South-Eastern European region, Europe and the world. They are trained to independently plan and lead history lessons in primary and secondary schools and to prepare and design didactic materials for history lessons. They become accustomed to self-reflection, self-evaluation and self-assessment of lifelong learning and are trained for independent pedagogical research work.

  • The history study program forms a graduate with a broad humanistic and social science perspective. It enables the student to acquire fundamental historical knowledge and basic skills for scientific research work.
  • The acquired knowledge and skills that the graduate masters meet high international standards. The graduate is capable of an analytical, critical and in-depth view of the past, and is also capable of recognizing contemporary political and social developments and their critical evaluation.
  • During their studies, the student is encouraged to work independently, the results of which are continuously included in the pedagogical and research part of the study.
