  • Plan and implement the Operational System for the project;
  • Put to effect the Monitoring and Evaluation systems;

  • Draft annual budget for project operations;
  • Ensure that expenditures are made within the budget scale so that funds do not run out before the financial year end;

  • Capture the assets in the Asset Register;
  • Maintain a healthy bank account balance and manage petty-cash;

  • Identify the needs and requirements of project implementation;
  • Fill vacant positions according to required skills and qualifications (or experience);
  • Organise internal staff trainings to improve the knowledge and working standards;

  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance;
  • Support the staff to ensure they complete tasks within a timeframe;
  • Discipline staff in case of misconduct, and fire a staff member if required.
  • PUBLIC RELATIONS
  • Plan influential meetings and handle public presentations/announcements;
  • Readily available to the public to deal with enquiries and resolve issues between the project and the public;
  • Maintain good knowledge of the project within the public by running campaigns that encourage public involvement with strong portrayal of the vision, mission and objectives.

  • Be a representative of a project to the Executive Committee;
  • Report the proceedings of the project to the Executive Committee;
  • Advice the Executive Committee on the needs of the community for the effectiveness of the organisation;
