A Tourism Professional with over 20 years of extensive experience in administrative and managerial roles. I am the Secretary General of the Sierra Leone Association of Tourism and Hospitality Professionals. Highly organized and efficient person, with a thorough and precise approach to objectives, which has produced excellent results to date. I have an experience in research, campaign and advocacy, working on social, cultural, economic and environmental impacts of tourism on local communities in Sierra Leone. I am able to undertake training, capacity-building, social organization, promote policy change and institutional development in local communities for tourism purposes. My ability is to work directly towards enabling non-exploitative, equitable and sustainable Tourism in Sierra Leone. I have also, worked towards awareness and mitigation of the negative impacts of tourism in Sierra Leone through community engagements on sustainable environment for tourism activities. Primarily provide analysis, initiate campaigns, advocate for laws, policy changes and network with other groups working on the issues of tourism.
