Music Industry Club BGSU

"The Music Industry Club at BGSU was a great opportunity to make new friends, learn more about local music acts and shows around the Bowling Green Area, and gain vital production experience (i.e., being hands-on for events we ran). It was also a great opportunity to lead and teach new incoming freshmen about production etiquette and getting hands-on use of professional-grade music equipment. Being hands-on was the most important thing I took out of this club, as it may take years to learn about using it through classes taught at BGSU (because of prerequistes you need, and class limitaiton size)."

"MIC was by far the best thing from my undergrad days. The memories and friendships will last a lifetime. I love that I was able to gain real hands-on experience in the music industry and put on fun events for the community, such as open mics, Live & Loud, and the first Bloomfest. I would do anything to go back! The growth the club has had in the last few years is amazing to watch!"
