Dr. Shuaib Musa is a global youth ambassador for sustainability on climate change and green gevolution, a renewable energy enthusiasts, clean energy and Climate advocate. As a young professional and social scientist, innovator, researcher, and social entrepreneur with almost a decade of experience in advocating for women resilience in climate and social justice. As an SDG advocate, and a youth leader who has served in various fraternities. He is a youth empowerment advocate bagging multi-sectoral prowess and professionalism. Rendering arduous services to the field of development. The cornerstone of his success is attributed to inclusive approaches adopted in youth participation. Shuaib began his career as a research Assistant with John Hopkins University (JHPIEGO) After some stint abroad, he joined We Make Change International a US based Nonprofit organization as a Research Manager. He also joined IDinsight as a Research Officer a research organization that helps global development leaders maximize their social impact. He is a Reader Mandela Washington Fellowship. His research is mainly in the field of social, behavioral and public health sciences. He was a Climate Leadership Fellow ; Al-Sharq Climate Youth Fellow; One Young World Fellow ; Mandela Washington Fellow, Mastercard Foundation Fellow and UN SDSN fellow. He has represented Youth and his Country in various International Conferences and Forums such as " World Youth Forum Egypt 2022 ; Kazan Youth Capital Summit Russia Federation 2022 ; 5th Diplomacy Academy, Turkey 2022; Misk Global Youth Forum Saudi Arabia 2022 and Model United Nations Summit Turkey 2019. He has won various prestigious Ambassadorial Award professionally and excellence. He has practical experiences in Project Proposal writing and management of grants mainly for institutional donors( EU, UN agencies, USAID, DFATD, GAC, Swedish International Development Agency, German Foreign Federal Office ) Project Management, Resource Mobilisation skills coupled with good working knowledge on both. Project Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation, Research and Development in Emergency. Design and development of high quality concept note and proposal to secure dramatic income growth from cooperate, institutional , major donors, trusts and foundations.

  • Progarmme Management and Technical support - I provided overall leaderships on all child protection programmes in Somalia through programmes design management and technical support to in designing of and implementation of CP interventions in accordance with international standards. I led in disseminating Child Protection PSS tools, training of national teams and providing regular review and feedback to national teams’ works plans and programme implementation plans.
