This role requires a deep understanding of sustainability principles, construction processes, and project management. • The Sustainable Infrastructure Design Manager should have a track record of leading and delivering sustainability (environment, finance, social) review and approvals for major infrastructure or mega- projects of international significance.   • Role and Responsibility:
  • Work with Procurement teams in terms of requirements of Sustainable procurement policies.
  • Review & approve Material Submittals to ensure compliance with Project Sustainability requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Client, Consultants, relevant project members/subcontractors to ensure full implementation, and Ensure Project complies with all the Project Sustainability requirements during Construction phase and achieve the targeted Sustainability rating.
  • Gather, Compile and generate, if needed, all the Sustainability related documentations/data required during Construction stage, from all the parties involved, for the further Submissions to the Client or relevant authorities/certifying bodies.
  • Verify completion of LEED NC elements for the site based on construction activities.

  • Manage the Envision and SITES rating system schemes and associated certification process and documentation across Oxagon projects to meet performance targets.
  • Collaborate closely with both senior managers (sustainable building design and net zero carbon) to develop innovative offset programs- carbon and biodiversity.
  • Manage consultants in the preparation of sustainability-related standards and guidelines, policies, and procedures and track, manage implementation.
  • Interfaces closely with the Developments Department and associated subdivisions and sectors to ensure appropriate, rigorous, and timely assessment of NEOM development projects.
  • Responsible for proactively engaging with planning, design and construction teams on all infrastructure developments related sustainability issues.
  • Guide master planners, designers, and sustainability specialists in the sustainability compliance of the NEOM regional structural plans and infrastructure designs.
  • Provide technical support and guidance related to sustainability within NEOM and to external stakeholders where interface is required (e.g., developers/ consultants/ suppliers).
  • Manage a team of secondary manpower design and construction professionals and provide directions and training as required.
