Work experience

Here are a few of my responsibilities as an intern. In the Linens department, I use a calculator to help me count how many linens I need to grab, I deliver linens to different floors of the hospital, and I stock up the linens on each cart. In the Cath Lab department, I clean the beds and make them, I make lab draw kits, I make cath bags and ep bags, and I clean surfaces to keep the germs away and keep the patients safe. And in the Food Ambassador department, I print out distribution tickets and highlight them and put the highlighted items into my bin and place them into the freezer, I also print out tray tickets and put colored coded stickers on to the patients tickets, if they have a blue sticker, they have a special diet, if they have a red sticker, they have an allergy, and if they have both, I put both stickers on the same ticket. And I make the trays and deliver them to patients and I should always greet them before coming. And I always put on hand sanitizer when I grab the tray and when I come out the patients room.
