About

My name is Michaele Haregot, and I am a lecturer at Mekelle University. I received a bachelor's in computer science from Aksum University in 2013, where I focused on web development using the C# programming language. Subsequently, I gained a master's degree in network learning technology from National Central University in 2017 in Taiwan. In pursuing my Master's degree, I designed a cloud-based system using Python Flask to facilitate student learning through computer networks and high-interaction multimedia courses. I used a seamless flipped classroom (in-class and homework practice using digital technologies) and a traditional classroom with effective learning strategies in my teaching and research experiments. My teaching and research experience gave me hands-on experience in machine learning, technology-based learning, and distributed systems (cloud computing). Also, I used the Arizona State University research product as a model reference in my research work (vLab: A Cloud based Resource and Service Sharing Platform for Computer and Network Security Education - ProQuest). It resulted in a jointly written paper that was ultimately published (Web-based hybrid virtualization laboratory to facilitate network learning: HVLab | IEEE Conference Publication | IEEE Xplore). Parallel to my teaching I have been working with various responsibilities that were relevant to my field of study with multiple sectors remotly (https://www.mainehealth.org/maine-medical-center)for many years. I worked as a data analyst and information management officer at non-governmental organization, Ethiopia. Also, I am passionate about working with teams and have strong organizational skills. Besides, I am able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy. Currently, I am a hardworking and passionate job seeker with strong organizational skills eager to secure an entry-level information management officer and data analyst position, and I am ready to help the team achieve company goals.
