I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration & Management majoring in Purchasing & Supply Chain Management. I am a registered member of the Kenya institute of supplies management (KISM/M/76145). I joined Machakos University from September 2018 to July 2020 in the position of Procurement Assistant. After that, I briefly got contracted as a procurement officer by Kyaka Hotel from February to May 2021. Later on, I joined Global Apparels EPZ as a Stores & Inventory Officer from October 2021 to December 2022. I am currently engaged in Machakos University a Procurement Assistant. Over the past six years, I’ve developed a multitude of skills that are vital in the recruitment industry including cost reduction strategies, risk management, dealing with internal and external stakeholders, supplier sourcing and evaluation and supply chain management, communication, customer service and a relentless can-do attitude. I have accumulated extensive knowledge of procurement policies, practices and procedures and also knowledge in tendering procedures and systems. Having experience in the supply chain industry, I believe I have the necessary skills to not only fulfil what is required of me, but it’ll offer me a challenge too which is something I relish and thrive on.
