About

I completed my Ph.D in atmospheric physics and am currently an associate professor at Debre Markos University (DMU), Ethiopia. Throughout my Ph.D studies, I was captivated by the fascinating world of Computational and statistical physics (CSP), atmospheric science, space physics, and climate science-related topics observation and modeling are my gifts. My senior experience at the DMU project and research on the watershed of Choke Mountain that helpful to further works and community engagement in different parts of the Globe. During my past work at DMU, my research/project has helped more than 102 researchers. I found employment for 1,000 young individuals without jobs. I therefore supported the switch of 1,341 farmers to an alternative, climate-resilient source of income. Thus, it was possible to restore 65,000 hectares of land damaged by flooding thanks to space technology that demonstrated soil and water conservation. My senior research experiences and leadership traits made it possible to apply my CSP talents to address real-world engineering challenges. Hence, the past project work ignited my love for CSP research and its huge potential to address urgent social concerns. I have acquired expertise and sharpened my practical skills by writing as the lead author for 13 scientific and Scopus-indexed journals (Elsevier and Springer), 26 proceedings, and 2 book chapters. Furthermore, I have given presentations at 35 national and international conferences on the results of my research.
