"Max Vaupen and I worked on one of my first larger scale short films I directed at California State University Northridge. Max was one of my leads in the short film, and Max was outstanding in every way imaginable as a collaborator. Max is affable, he came prepared, and was a class act professional through and through on set. Max wasn't only a great performer, he was an exceptional contributor as well. Oftentimes his suggestions and creative intuition surpassed my expectations of the material we were working off of, which is the mark of a brilliant colleague.
