"Maya Savannah has been a member of UZIMA! Drum and Dance Company since she was an adolescent. Maya has undeniable artistic talent, however, talent without effort does not equate success. Maya has proven that she not only has the talent to success, she is committed to doing the work as well.
As an ambitious young woman, she has not always been able to devote the time to attending rehearsals due to school, work and other life committments. That said, Maya works indepdently on her own to learn choreography and staging and when she is able to attend rehearsals, she comes prepared and ready to build on the work she has already done. Maya takes direction well and applies corrections immediately. She is intelligent, highly motivated and professional. Maya would be a distinct asset to any organization, company, group or community."
