Hypothetical worst case scenario off the top of my head: do you like your job enough to have kept receipts of your faithfulness, get a specialty civil... suit lawyer with billable hours, could countersue for more damages than your lawyer would bill you for, willing to burn that bridge and/or full scorched earth, and go on a blacklist with your Management's six degrees of connection? How committed are you to a mutual hostage situation compelled by somebody else? more

Would you accept a job that pays 30% more if it required you to be in the office five days a week instead of working remotely? What would ultimately drive your decision?

30 percent more than not covered by insurance treatments or preventative care given I work myself into chronic illness if I have to take the work more... seriously than "whatever pace I can live with if I see my own boss, and my own boss has put me on indefinite unpaid leave to sort out at least 1~2 years' worth of yard work, I don't trust strangers, not even expert strangers, around my house anymore, I have embraced the Doom It Myself path. more
