"I deeply enjoyed the teaching position I found through Lightkeepers, however, management has a lot of room for improvement.
One day, while checking my timecard, I realized all my shifts were removed and had to reach out about it only to be told my position was no longer needed. No one informed me of this decision when it happened so I would not have known if I was not actively checking.
Additionally, I also realized that my paychecks were smaller than they were meant to be. Upon discussing this with the founder, I was presented with incorrect mathematical equations for calculating hourly pay. After explaining how the math actually works, I put in a two weeks notice.
I adored teaching, but the constant unprofessionalism and uncertainty of the position was not worth it."
