About

With over 8 years of experience in managing computer systems and imparting ICT knowledge, I have developed a deep expertise in Digital Security, Social Media Training, and General Computer Literacy. My work spans national, regional, and global levels, with a particular focus on Digital Rights, ICT for Development (ICT4D), Internet Governance, and Cybersecurity. Currently, as a Senior Tech Support Officer at Women of Uganda Network (WOUGNET), I manage the organization’s online platforms, conduct digital security audits, develop ICT policies, and support various departments through innovative technical solutions. I also play a pivotal role in developing online and mobile applications to further WOUGNET's mission. My previous roles have equipped me with a comprehensive skill set, including website development, network management, data recovery, and IT support. I have led ICT training programs for Google for Africa Youth Program and have consistently delivered high-impact training and workshops on digital security and literacy across various organizations and educational institutions. As a founder of Maasai Consults, I provide expert advice and technical assistance in network design, system integration, security, data recovery, and more. My commitment to leveraging technology for development and empowerment is reflected in my active participation in key industry forums and conferences, such as RightsCon and Cyfence Africa. I am passionate about staying ahead of technology trends and applying innovative solutions to real-world challenges. My goal is to continue making a positive impact through technology, fostering digital literacy, and enhancing cybersecurity practices.
