Leo Schwartz

"I have known Leo for many years. He is the best combination of artist, and educator and author.
His preferred arena is musical theater but has also written music for symphonies and for film.
He is entrepreneurial in nature and educates others with the same spirit. His work has won awards and one musical was performed Off Broadway.
I have only seen a kind and patient man with a deep love for creating music. Theater is a collaborative art and he honors the work that others bring to his musicals. I, personally, do not know of any person who would not work with him again.

"Perhaps a good playwright, but I’ll never forget how he profiled and insulted me for my appearance, suggesting that I was a stoner.

Upon gifting me a hot pink shirt for the show of his I drummed in, he said, “It’s red, just like the color of your eyes all the time.” His assistants instantly reprimanded him, but I would say don’t work with him unless you’re ready to potentially be stereotyped and insulted.

Other than that, he paid us well, stuck to his word, and was generally nice."
