"As Chair of Governors at Woodchurch Church of England Primary School, I worked extensively with Laura when she was heavily involved in fundraising activities for the school, leading a year of activities and events the total
for which remains unbeaten. To deliver this, Laura used her extensive connections in the local community in which she was a visible and very active member, building strong and meaningful relationships with a wide range of people. During her tenancy in Woodchurch, her enthusiasm, determination and ability to make connections with people from all walks of life, without doubt enriched our village community, particularly during the pandemic.
During her visits since moving away, she and the family have also taken on house-sitting responsibilities over several holidays (including my own) during which time they were model tenants.
Their decision to leave Woodchurch to support family in Leicestershire was a big loss to the village community here."
