"During the COVID-19 pandemic, I started letting the perm grow out of my hair. After the pandemic, I returned to the stylist I had been using for over 40 years, but she wanted to put the perm back in my hair. Since I wanted to remain perm-free, I had to find a new stylist and a friend introduced me to Larry. He took wonderful care of my hair - until I no longer had it - as a result of treatment for a serious illness. The treatment was well known to cause hair loss. When I discussed my medical situation and upcoming hair loss (due to my treatment) with with Larry, he was very kind and caring. Larry first helped me to cut my long-tresses below the shoulders hair into a stylish new cut. He then eventually shaved my head to remove my short hair when it started coming out in large clumps. He gave me a beautiful new scarf to help me adjust to my new normal of rocking a bald head and hairless style. I have now completed my treatment, and have "new" truly natural hair - no perm and no color. I look forward to working with Larry once I decide what type of hair style I want going forward. Larry was truly a blessing during a challenging time in my life, and I look forward to working with him for many years to come."
