"Professor Hrkač is a top intellectual in the field of social sciences. His research interests are mainly within the field of business ethics, CSR and sustainability and in the philosophy of Ludwig Wittgenstein. He has published 12 books in these areas and is the editor and co-editor of 8 textbooks, proceedings of conferences, and as a guest editor he edited the issue of the journal Social Responsibility. He is the author and co-author of more than 120 original scientific, professional and review articles, book chapters and encyclopedia articles. He published for De Gruyter, Springer, Ashgate, Emerald and the Austrian Ludwig Wittgenstein Society.

He is an associate editor in the Journal of Social Responsibility Journal (Emerald) and was a member of the editorial board and reviewer of several international journals and conferences (Europe, Asia, North America) and editor of sections for two CSR encyclopedias (Springer).
