Responsibilities
● Participated in designing and developing native android applications with React-native.
● Created the IPPF data portal that used Angular as its Front-End where i used bootstrap and material UI components, implemented authentication with JWTs, data visualization with Flexmonster etc.
● Contributed largely in creating a TIFMS for Chamu Supplies Ltd using php. This included generating pdf reports, uploading shipping documents, providing technical support, implementing finance part of it using frontaccounting, authentication among others.
● Provided support and participated in developing existing projects done with Codeigniter and Laravel which are php frameworks.
● Point of sales system with Laravel.
● Created REST Apis for Accounting Erp for integrating financial accounting with POS and Tea Information Management System.
● Quickbooks SOAP apis integration with point of sales software.
Projects
➢ Chamu TIFMS - Which is a Tea information system for Chamu Supplies, a company that buys and sells tea at the EastAfrica Tea Auction. The system was developed by spaghetti php and some of its features/modules included stock management, user management, financial management and shipments management. It is while at the development stage that I applied my knowledge in accounting and gained valuable experience in creating a financial system. Its repository is https://gitlab.com/FrancJnr/chamu.git .
➢ IPPF data portal - The Portal was developed with Angular used to develop the Front-End and java for its backend. I was the lead Front-end developer but also took part in creating apis with Java Springboot. Its repository can be found here https://github.com/45679000/Ippf.git and it’s deployed url is http://ippf.s3-website-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/home.
➢ Kalenjin hymn book cross platform mobile application. The app whose playstore link is https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ian.tiendo was developed using react-native. It’s repository is found here https://gitlab.com/45679000/tiendo.git .
➢ Bookstore Point of sales and Ecommerce. This project was done using codeigniter php web framework and its url is http://halfpricedbooks.co.ke/ . My responsibility in the team involved was creating Apis for E-comerce along with M-pesa integration.
➢ Restaurant management system whose link is https://techsavanna.technology/rocy . The system encompasses room booking, bar and restaurant sales as well as financial accounting.

➢ Polls and elections management system with Django, a python web framework.
➢ Erpnext. An accounting software that incorporates feature that include but are not limited to human resource management and payroll, Manufacturing, Customer resource management, Point of sales among others.
➢ Loans management system for managing loans, loan repayments among others created with Java as the backend technology and angular for the frontend.
➢ Customer resource management software fo rmanaging customers from the point they are leads to being regular customers. This is a software created with codeigniter, a php framework.
