  • In collaboration with Save the Children, IRC have a project that focuses on Children with special needs where Children born and living with disabilities are given the assistance they need. For example, medical assistance in form of diagnosis, treatment, referrals and recommendations to improve their lives. As a Volunteer social worker, we pay home visits to these families and offer psychosocial support to the parents and engaging the children so that they can feel normal and loved. We also monitor the progress of the different treatments and recommendations given by our doctors and make reports documenting every visit in order to identify the areas of improvement and neglect.
