Oversee the laboratory processes and SOP review and production.
Maintains and oversees implementation of ISO 15189 standard.
Monitor, evaluate and improve internal Quality Management Systems in collaboration with Lab Management e.g. by making sure internal audit are performed and implementation of the findings.
Maintaining a positive and supportive working environment for staffs from a Quality Assurance perspective.
Establish appropriate document management system for all the lab documents and records.
Coordinate, Evaluate and manage External Quality Assurance (EQA) Programs to ensure that it achieves its intended purpose.
Ensure that proper corrective and preventive actions are put in place to avoid quality complains, failures and provide opportunity for continuous improvement.
Be part of study planning monitoring and evaluation team.
Perform method Validation and Evaluation.
Arranges staff training and competency assessments.
Ensure that Risk Assessments are performed and Mitigation measures are in place.
To assist the Laboratory Director in laboratory procurement requirements in accordance with the set procedures by raising Requisition forms.

Conducts and prepares in coordination with departmental heads orientation and training for the new staff and students.

Recording and verifying Laboratory tests results and procedures accurately.
Collecting and processing specimens according to standardized and accepted practices.
