"Inviting Kenya as a co-facilitator during a social justice event at Saint Mary’s College of CA, was one the best decisions I made as Chair of the campuses black infinity space. Kenya was personable, and professional; funny, engaging and authentic. It was exactly what our black students needed to feel a real sense of belonging. The workshop survey served as confirmation of this with with student comments like “Ms.Kenya’s circle made me immediately feel I could exhale in a space where I had only just earlier today felt I couldn’t breath” “Kenya’s passion for social justice and social issues was liberating”.
