  • Glad's House Kenya supports street connected children and young people living or working on the streets of Mombasa including those at risk of falling to the streets through sports activities.
  • Our main catchment area is Mombasa CBD and Bomu location within Changamwe sub-county.
  • I was previllaged to head the outreach department speciffically working on the streets.
  • My biggest achievement for the period i have been in the organization can be attributed to the increased retention rate with very minimal relapses compared to the past.
  • I also took part in a research on Street-connectedness and education in Kenya: Experiences of formal schooling as rationale for inclusive pedagogies of practice working alongside a researcher from the Metropolitant University of Manchester. The findings are available online.
