"I attended high school with Kaleb in Durham NC. He was always very kind, hard working, and intentional in his respectful treatment of me and his other classmates as well as our teachers (even the mean ones). He is someone I am delighted to have known, and based on how easily he befriended new students like me as well as how dedicated he was to his own academic success as well as the success of all of us I’d call him a true team player and advocate for anyone who needed a friend. My memories of Kaleb are overwhelmingly positive and he made my time as the newest freshman full of laughter and welcoming energy. I have no doubt that no matter what role or task he may be given, Kaleb has the determination and work ethic to succeed as well as the heart (and excellent humor) to ensure unity and success among all of his peers.
