Joseph P. Candela II

"Joseph and I went to mount saint Mary college with me. We worked very close together in both the student government association and the campus ministry association.

Together, we got the political awareness club up and running again where I worked as a co-chairman. We had many events and got many students to attend and continue their activity in participating in the weekly meetings we had and periodic events. After Joe graduated, I continued leading this club and without his support and guidance I would have never had the motivation to do so. After I graduated, I’m happy to say that with increased involvement the club was able to continue on even after I graduated.

I actually met Joe during the Sunday evening mass that was held every Sunday evening at 6pm by the campus ministry. Joseph was very committed to attending this Sunday mass and so was I. This attendance allowed us to stay active with the campus ministry’s events and we also attended retreats together.

After graduation Joe and I stayed in touch and o consider him one of my best friends! He is very kind and caring and reliable. I trust Joe with my life! "
