About

I am communication, public relations and advocacy professional with more than 15 years’ experience in Southern and East Africa. I have developed and delivered communication and advocacy strategies for donors, the United Nations, leading NGOs and development contractors encompassing research, policy development, media and public engagement. I began my professional career as a journalist in Malawi where I specialised in feature writing. Over the years, I have developed a strong passion for humanitarian and development communication after having worked in South Sudan and later in Cabo Delgado, Mozambique where I successfully managed to produce compelling content to highlight the extent of the crisis in the two countries . I am a holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a Masters’ degree in Diplomacy and International Relations, and recently completed a post graduate certificate in digital marketing.
