"Mr Joseph Mabaso is a visionary, capable to unearth potential in others, groom and make leaders. He is able to build a team with objectives that are achievable and are in relation to future developments.
Mr Mabaso is a community leader who has transformed many people's lives by empowering them to be part takers in the development and transformation for a better life. He has produced managers, leaders and through his leadership role as my former principal he has produced graduates across different fields of study even when the school was not well resourced.
He has motivated many of his learners to be entrepreneurial and innovative.
He leads from behind, the middle and to the front.
What I have taken from him is that when people fold their hands, you must fold your sleeves because there is always work to do.
He has made us as his staff then to be hard working, dedicated, committed, faithful, honest and to have integrity. Punctuality is what really matters to him as he taught us it leads to productivity and efficiency which leads to quality results.
He is bold, courageous and a risk taker.
He taught me as an individual many skills I never knew, mentioning a few:
Financial management, project management, setting achievable goals, managing conflict and being a leader in many areas across education."
