"John Sevier Austin has demonstrated an amazingly profound ability to take a sentence and almost immediately speak it backwards, and he can prove it by recording it and playing it backwards for you right then and there, so you can experience how accurate he is. He can give you a perfect demonstration of his skill at will. He's kind of master of the ability. He doesn't seem to me to have any obvious defects in his ability, so far as I can tell from YouTube videos, except that when he plays it backwards for you, often the inflections or specific sounds he's trying to reproduce backwards are not perfectly fluent English sounding. It sounds like it's not a native language for him when you hear it backwards, but only from a very strict grammatical and phonological sense. I mean, to criticize him for him not being perfect in his intonation and inflections is ridiculous, unless you're really needing perfection. For most people, I imagine, speaking even barely accurately would be quite sufficient proof of his ability. I highly recommend him on this level."
