"I've had the opportunity to work closely with Dr. John Foster on grant development and funding strategies for NextGen Douglas Incorporated, and one thing I've come to appreciate is how deeply he cares about turning educational opportunities into something tangible for young people.

Through our work on the After School & Summer STEM/AI Program, I've seen how his vision extends beyond simply securing funding. He's thinking about the students who might never have had access to robotics, artificial intelligence, or hands-on technology education, and what it would take to change that.

What particularly stands out to me is his attention to the practical side of that vision, from expanding student workstations and securing learning equipment to making sure instructional resources support meaningful participation.

Working with him has reminded me that successful nonprofit leadership isn't just about having a compelling mission. It's about doing the detailed, often unseen work required to bring that mission to life.

I genuinely respect Dr. Foster's commitment to the young people and families his organization serves, and I'm glad to contribute to the work he's building in Douglas County."
