  • Ensuring that no client has extended credit beyond terms of credit agreement
  • Ensure that all accounts on credit have been authorised as per clients' management procedure regarding account opening.
  • Follow up with the clients for payment of resolved outstanding balances.
  • Reconciliation of clients payments to the remittance advices in order to reflect the actual outstanding balances
  • Reconciling account issues and requesting re-issue of invoices where necessary to ensure a high level of administration within the team
  • Resolve in liason with the key account managers the differences arising from clients' reconciliation and take appropriate actions
  • Creating repayment plans where payment can't be made within the agreed credit terms
  • Prepare and circulate monthly aged debtors ledger to directors and senior sales team
  • Preparing and circulation monthly statement to customers
  • Carrying out trade references with suppliers where appropriate
  • Checking the accuracy and posting sales credit notes
  • Preparing journal vouchers
