About
I am a London-based theatre director, writer, producer, movement practitioner, creative facilitator and glass artist, originally from Croatia with Italian and Japanese heritage.
My work moves across theatre, film, community practice and visual art. I am particularly interested in new writing, physical and visual theatre, interdisciplinary storytelling and work exploring belonging, identity, displacement, memory and human connection.
As a director and producer, I develop projects from early research and writing through R&D, collaboration, funding, rehearsals and public performance. My current projects include *We Are All Fish*, an interdisciplinary theatre production combining live performance, movement, projection, object theatre and stop-motion origami puppetry; a stage response to Osamu Dazai’s *No Longer Human*; and *PURE*, a film project exploring migration, stained glass and memory.
Alongside my professional theatre work, I lead community and artist-development workshops using movement, breath and my developing Inner Ear methodology. I have worked with community participants, migrant groups and older people, and I am interested in making creative spaces accessible, collaborative and physically engaging.
Writing is also a major part of my practice. My work includes plays, essays, children’s books and screen projects. More recently, I have developed a visual-art practice in glass and am a member of the Contemporary Glass Society.
I am interested in collaborations across theatre, film, community arts and multidisciplinary practice, particularly with people who are curious, ambitious and open to developing work through research and experimentation.
