"Izzy was able to create a documentary on some friends and my life growing up in the 80s in our home town. She interviewed all of us together and then separately. She surprised the audience in the beginning of the film with a really fun scene and then she was able to capture our feelings, accomplishments and mistakes through these small snippets of the interviews. She reminded us of the freedom we had as youth without cellphones and social media tethering us. Some stories were emotional, some were scary and some were hilarious. The movie conveyed that all of these small and large experiences created friendships and love we still have for each other today. I would compare the feelings I had as an audience member to the feelings I have watching a Ken Burns documentary."
