  • i. Configuring and deployment of Network devices and equipment for example: Routers and switches (Huawei and Cisco). This was a project to replace all obsolete network equipment across the 35 branches which was achieved successfully.
  • ii. Provide onsite, remote and desk-side support to end-users on all infrastructure related ICT issues.
  • iii. Proper maintenance of user workstations (file, print, e-mail) infrastructure, their upgrades, capacity planning and update the IT assets inventory regularly.
  • iv. Provide technical specifications for user workstations and configure all new workstations.
  • v. Effectively track movement of hardware using equipment movement forms and tools.
  • vi. Evaluate user hardware needs and provide support to users on peripherals, printer configuration, disk space optimization and management
  • vii. Monitor file servers for viruses, and keep server and client anti-virus signatures current.
  • viii. Manage and monitor configuration, performance, and activity of all ICT computers and peripherals on the network ensuring that they meet 100% planned uptime.
  • ix. Monitors incident details, including the configuration items affected to protect systems from unwarranted configuration changes.
  • x. Implementing the auditing policy in respect to ICT equipment and peripherals.
  • xi. Install and configure new hardware, software releases, system upgrades; evaluate and install patches.
  • xii. Implement best practices and policies for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting end user workstation hardware and peripheral devices.
  • xiii. Monitor and report on the performance of hardware equipment and operating systems, explain any performance deviations and provide recommendations for the redress of any difficulties.
  • xiv. Undertake any other assignments related to information systems technology as may be assigned by supervisors from time to time
