Preston Associates for International Development is a non-governmental organization that is Nigerian-owned and woman-led. Established and duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission in 2013, Preston provides evidence for improved development outcomes through research, in Nigeria. We specialize in offering technical support to our clients in the areas of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning across the development sector spectrum. Over the past eight years, we have deployed our expertise mostly in the Health, Governance, Education, Gender, as well as the Child and Youth development sectors. Purpose:
We are a fast-growing development sector consultancy firm that provides evidence

services. We work with international and domestic non-governmental organizations,
national and state-level government agencies/parastatals as well as bilateral and

Major Duties:
Under the... direct supervision of the MEAL Technical Advisor and in collaboration with
other core staff members, He/She will:
• Present and analyze data based on information needs of the project team and
partners and support in database management.
• Analysing of data, report development, and submission of M&E reports
• Provide support to improve monitoring and reporting mechanisms through
revised monitoring and reporting framework, through collaboration with the
program team.
• Review of reporting made against indicators
• Develop and update project monitoring plans and monitor the indicators of
projects.
• Recommend further improvement of the logical framework.
• Develop monitoring and impact indicators for project success.
• Monitor and evaluate overall progress on achievement of results.
• Monitor the sustainability of the project's results.
• Provide feedback to the Technical Advisor on project strategies and activities.
• Identifying and documenting lessons learned; collecting information for case
studies; writing and preparing success stories, and facilitating periodic reviews,
and prepare presentation on programme achievement.
• Assisting in preparing quarterly and annual progress reports.

Skills/Knowledge
Job Qualifications:
• B.Sc in Statistics, Economics, Public Health or any related field (M.Sc is an
advantage)
• 3-5 years M&E related NGO work experience (familiarity with
health/education/governance projects is an advantage)
• Possess professionalism, motivation, flexibility, and culturally sensitivity
• Previous experience in indicator tracking matrix
• Excellent communication (oral, written and use of graphics) and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to create program support systems for large amounts of data
within a complex program.
• Proven experience in designing and leading capacity building and training for
national and/or sub-national teams.
• Proficiency in data collection, collation, analysis and report writing (experience
& expertise with data analysis software – SPSS, NVivo, R, tableu, etc. is an
advantage)
• Knowledge and experience in using database-specific software, e.g., SQL, MS
Access
• Demonstrated experience with IT troubleshooting
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office programming (Access,
Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
• Proven expertise in quantitative and qualitative methodologies, research,
reporting, data quality assessments, data analysis, and presentation.
• Strong understanding of M&E, policy, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English including excellent
facilitation skills and demonstrated technical writing skills for publication.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse national and international teams.
• Ability to work in a complex environment with multiple tasks, short deadlines,
and intense pressure to perform.
