About

I am a passionate peace builder, child activist, founder and CEO of Future Leaders Initiative SL, with a strong desire to create positive change in my community. As the founder of the Future Leaders Initiative in Sierra Leone, I empower young individuals to become leaders and make a meaningful impact on the world. I am also a highly skilled sound engineer, published author, musician, and educator, and have used my talents to develop innovative projects that promote peace and support local community growth. In addition, I am an ambassador for the Global Peace Chain and a participant in the AU Champion for Peace program, and have extensive experience in community development, community mobilization, and local peacekeeping efforts. As the Deputy Country Director for Youth for Peace and Security Africa, I work to advance peace and security in my region. I am an avid supporter and advocate for international NGOs, including UNICEF, Save the Children, Plan International, and World Vision. I have also served as a Music Action International facilitator with WAYoutarts Sierra Leone, using music to inspire and empower youth to create positive change in their communities. My education and certifications include a degree in Sound Engineering and Music Production (2014-2019), a Diploma in Child Protection, a Diploma in Child Psychology, Certificates in Music Therapy and Counselling from Music Action International, a Diploma in Human Resources, and various other certificates in areas such as conflict analysis, children's human rights, and community organization.
